I asked myself what it is about this particular scene....on this particular day.
Everything about it - speaks to the ordinary.
The old wooden barn with the old metal barn roof.
The windows - framed in red.
The lilies that have grown wild - just there...just that - for decades. I would guess.
My father could have made this image.
His father before him - too.
It's simple color and shape and form.
As timeless as this mid-summer's grey day.
