Cherry Berries

November 1, 2016 Marcie Scudder

And today - the sun chose to share and shine her beautiful face.
It's been awhile.
I'd forgotten how bright her light is.

I don't know how much longer the sweet robins will stay.
I'll miss their song when they're gone. They're southbound - I'm sure - like all the others.

The last of the lost birds.
The last of the cherry berries.
The first of many many more days. Each one shorter than the one before it.

Now it is.
TIme passes. Days and weeks and months.
How is it possible?
It's November.
