I wanted to tell her that she's lucky...that she's beautiful....that there is no thing better than this field that is filled with yellow. The light of the blue in the skies...the smell of the afternoon breeze...the sound of the grasses rustling. I wanted to remind her to be grateful.
Yes - she's missing a horn. And still?...and yet?
She stood straight and tall. With such confidence. Proud and brave and sure. She didn't look away when I looked at her.
She met my gaze with her own.
I wanted her to know that she's perfectly imperfect. Just as she is. I wanted to tell her - she's loved.
