The outer landscape is frozen solid...cold...shades of grey and brown. Not particularly inviting or inspiring as winter landscapes can so often be.
And so - I turn my vision inwards. I question. I doubt. I'm not at all certain that I'll be able to fill these short..dark winter days with color..with humor..with beauty...with light.
Over and over I'm reminded that all we need..we already have. Look within. Trust and believe.
So - here you have it. For today. A simple salad of winter delight. An imbalanced balance. A little color...a little light on a snowless winter day.
