Centered

The endless noise..the endless lists. All of the things we were going to do yesterday..that we didn't get to today..what we promise ourselves that we will - tomorrow.

Chatter.

The self-doubt..the fear..the constant critique. I should..I would..I'm sorry - I couldn't. the daily apologies for being less...for wishing to be more..for not trusting and believing.

The voices that fill our heads..the people we need to please and appease..the daily call and demand of others.

Round and round in circles. Searching. Seeking. Looking for something out there that is better.

Stop.

Breathe.

Look and see.

Whatever it was..whatever it is - has always been. In among the twists and turns and misty rain - there is center.

Coming tomorrow - the second in my once-monthly series of 'Saturday Salons' - where I'll be introducing and sharing the work of other artists who I've met along my journeys here on this great world wide web.

"We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something."
