The Clowns

It was the day the circus came to town. The tight rope walkers..the lion tamers..the elephants on parade.

The crowds laughed...the audience applauded...the children squealed in amused delight.

And then - came the clowns. Big bulbous red noses.. painted faces..and oversized flip floppy feet. They sang and juggled and did funny cartwheels and somersaults in mid-air.

Their colors blurred..their faces melted. As the crowds cheered - they danced away. They disappeared.

But in between the color and light -  I can still hear them laughing. If you stop for a moment..if you listen closely - I think you can too?
