There's an unspoken quiet in this asymmetry of this landscape.
Soft and gentle curves juxtaposed on straight lines. Falling snow...blurring the horizon.
Color-less and color-full.
Simple and complex.
I imagine a herd of winter deer traversing its ridge line.
I remember the cows grazing.
I search and hope to find a hawk circling.
I think of all that I learned as a child....what was taught to me.
To respect the mountains.
To honor nature's majesty.
To celebrate its beauty.
And all I can do is breathe.
