Spring
Although it felt at the time that winter might never end, it eventually did. The cold blue skies and white snow melted into the pale greens of spring. Trees blossomed, grass grew, and new life emerged on the pond in the form of Canada geese and their baby goslings. What began as a year-long project, has continued to this day.
This is the story of a pair of misplaced Pekin ducks, ever-changing seasons and of nature's capacity to renew and restore. It is the story of the beauty that exists right at our doorstep if we take a moment to stop, to breathe, to observe and to enjoy. It is the ongoing story of being in the present moment.
