This series of images records the hours my daughter spends reading and writing, doing math and science. Lying on the floor...sitting at the kitchen counter...curled up on the living room sofa. The goal - is college. The hope - is Ivy League. 

These pictures speak of the pressure so many teenagers feel to succeed in a world that is competitive and sometimes unfair. They speak of patience and perseverance, and the hours and hours of effort put in to arriving.
