Design Philosophy
I take great care and pride in the creative use of existing space, and in creating seamless additions and renovations to existing homes. My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that people live most comfortably in well-designed, efficient spaces. My aim is to provide contextual, custom design solutions.
I begin each project by understanding the site and structure, carefully listening to a client's needs, and desires. I then develop programmatic requirements, which become the basis for the design process. My approach often includes the re-use and reconfiguration of existing space. I let space, light and order be my guides. I   work directly with the client, from preliminary schematic design through construction review, to assistance with finish detail selection such as choosing kitchen cabinets, bathroom fixtures, tile and paint colors
